The Rapa Nui National Park is yet another place of interest in Easter Island that not only teems with some rare wild life species but has all ancient cultural remnants of an abandoned desert-dwelling race. It is therefore a national park with a happy mix of history and adventure.
The other important places of visit in Easter Island include Ahu Tongariki, the pristine Orongo Lake which offers great boat rides for the tourists and last of all the peak of the dormant volcano Rano Kau which not only offers a magnificent panoramic view but is also a popular hiking spot in South America.
