Restaurants in Caracas

Caracas, being the largest metropolitan city of Venezuela , is marked by the co-existence of a modern commercial zone bustling with shops, boutiques, art galleries, fine restaurants and eateries side by side with a cultural zone, that comprises of the Teresa Carreño Theatre, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Children's Museum and the National Art Gallery. The modern district in the area of the Caracas Valley is located at an altitude of 2,500 feet to 3,000 feet above the sea level. The valley is situated near the Caribbean Sea and is divided from the coast of the Caribbean Sea by the mountain range of Cerro Ávila, which has an altitude of 7400 feet. There are a total of 119 restaurants in Caracas . Restaurants in Caracas are divided on the basis of the type of cuisines they serve, namely Spanish, Italian, French and others.

There are 21 restaurants serving Spanish cuisine, 18 serving Italian food, 15 serving Steak & Barbecue, 14 serving French cuisine.
