Caracas is the capital city of Venezuela . It is also the largest city of the country. Caracas is situated in the northern part of the country, bordering the narrow mountain valleys that are posited on the Cordillera de la Costa. The climate in the valley is like spring throughout the year. To the south of the region lie a number of hills and mountains. Tourist spots in Caracas are many and varied and are spread all over the city. Caracas , being a part of Venezuela , houses similarly exotic locations in the city. Ciudad Universitaria de Caracas : Carlos Raúl Villanueva was the master mind behind the design of the Central University of Venezuela's main campus. As of now, it was declared to be a site of the World Heritage by UNESCO. It is considered to be a unique work by the Modern Architecture and Art.
Capitolio Federal : It is housed in an entire block of the city block. It seems bigger with its golden polished domes and neoclassical architecture. |

Antonio Guzmán Blanco was the commissioner of this building during the 1870s. The Salón Elíptico is its most popular structure. It is an oval hall its domes covered in murals and walls decorated with portraits of the famous people of the country.
Parque Del Este : It was created by the Brazilian architect called Roberto Burle Marx. Parque Del Este is like a green paradise located in the center of the city. This park is the place, where some animals are kept and taken care of, as in a zoo. The other half of the park is home to a replica of Francisco de Miranda's ship, the Leander.
