Caracas is the largest metropolitan city of Venezuela . The modern region in the area of the Caracas Valley is located at a height of 2,500 feet to 3,000 feet above the sea level. The valley is situated near the Caribbean Sea and is divided from the coast of the Caribbean Sea by the mountain range of Cerro Ávila, which has a height of 7400 feet.
